The efiport AG is delighted about your visit to its Internet pages and your evinced interest in the company. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly observe the applicable laws and regulations. We want you to feel secure when you visit our Internet pages and therefore want to inform you about the approach of efiport AG to ensure the protection of your data as well as the kind of processed data and its purpose.
With the following notices we commit us to a responsible handling of your personal data. In particular the German Federal Data Protection Act (in the following: BDSG), the German Telecommunications Act (in the following: TKG) as well as the German Teleservices Act (in the following: TMG) provide a legal basis.

Personal Data
According to § 3 sect. 1 BDSG personal data is any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual (the data subject). That covers not only the data of a specific (individualised) person but also that information which does not identify a specific person clearly or directly but allow to find out the identity of a person by means of other information.
Collection of Personal Data
General Information – Collection of Usage Data:
You can visit most of our Internet pages without the need for entering any data. We only get notice of technical information regarding your connection to our Internet pages.That usage data is anonymous and does not enable us to draw any conclusion to your person. It is used only for statistical purpose in order to optimise our range of products and services and our Internet presence.
Data collected in this context is e.g.:
- name of your Internet service provider,
- visited Internet page,
- Internet page from where you visit us,
- current IP address of your Internet access,
- your used browser type as well as operating system (incl. version),
- name of the retrieved file,
- date and time of the retrieval,
- amount of data transmitted.
Personal Data – Collection of Inventory Data:
Within the usage of some areas of our Internet presence we ask you as the user to enter some data which can clearly be assigned to your person. That occurs e.g. when requesting information material, signing up for an event or subscribing to our newsletter.
Thereby we collect only inventory data necessary for the respective function, e.g.:
- name,
- postal address,
- date of birth,
- telephone number,
- e-mail address.
Consent to Collection and Processing of Personal Data
Prior to the capture of your personal data you mandatory have to give your consent. In case you do not consent to the processing of your data you are not enabled to enter that data and subsequently to use the function of our Internet presence you called.
Earmarked Usage of Personal Data
Your personal data is processed only for the purpose notified.
Transmission of Personal Data
The efiport AG as subsidiary of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management gGmbH offers services, which are internally used. The company is responsible for Information Technology within the group.
After its collection your personal data is transferred to a system managing customer relationships run by efiport AG to enable an automated processing.
The collected personal data is not used in states beyond the scope of the EU Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/48/EG of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24.10.1995, published in the Official Journal of the European Union No L 281, p. 31-50).
A transmission of your personal data to other third parties than the named above does not take place unless you have given your express consent to or a corresponding legal obligation exists.
Deletion of Personal Data
The legal retention periods arising out of the commercial and tax law and further legal requirements are being followed by us. When matured the data will be deleted as soon as the original purpose of its processing is achieved.
Usage of collected Persona Data for Advertising Purposes
For advertising purposes efiport AG uses your collected postal address, e-mail address as well as telephone number to send you postal items or e-mails with general information or of advertising nature or to contact you for a consultation with advertising nature.
Only with your express consent your personal data is used for advertising purpose. In case you do not consent you are not considered within relevant marketing activities of efiport AG.
Cookies
There is no permanent conncection between our web server and you browser. Each time you call a new Internet page or send a filled form a new connection is established from your browser to our web server, data is exchanged and finally the connection is closed again. In order to enable the processing of data entered via a multilateral form the data is buffered in so called Cookies.
Cookies are small information units which are sent from our web server to you browser, which stores them in its memory. Within an future access from your browser to our web server your browser sends this information back to our web server. You distinguish between Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies. After closing your browser you can use only Persistent Cookies for a future connection of your browser to our web server as Persistent Cookies are permanently stored on the hard drive of your computer. Session Cookies are lost after the browser is closed.
For our Internet presence we are using Session Cookies as well as Persistent Cookies, which are used for storing usage as well as inventory data.
Web Controlling
For optimising our Internet presence we evaluate the behaviour of the visitors of our Internet pages in some areas. The data necessary for the statistical analysis is collected and stored exclusively by using of pseudonyms. A personal identification of the visitor does not take place. No personal data is stored. The applied analysis technique uses Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies.
Rights of the User
At any time you are entitled to ask for the personal data we have stored for your person, for the receiver or category of receivers of your transmitted data and for the purpose of the storing.
If you do not agree anymore to the storing of your personal data or that data has become incorrect we will on request care for the deletion or locking of your data or perform necessary corrections (as far as possible according to applicable law).
At any time you can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data.
At any time you can revoke your consent to the usage of your personal data for advertising purpose.
